How to get a healthy hair for good

It’s something that women have enjoyed for years and is as much of a boost to self esteem as it is a hobby and talking point. There is nothing wrong to love makeup in a healthy way.

Women can spend hours just talking about different types of makeup, routines and personal favourites, but at the same time it can also have an adverse effect on the skin if not treated properly.

Truth is that make up is very easy to forget about removing. However, like a lot of things that is applied to the skin, it will block your pores, as well as preventing a healthy exposure to air and light. There is a reason why we are encouraged to remove make-up at night before bed. It allows the skin to breathe whilst we sleep so that we can wake up and apply a fresh supply of make-up. Depending on an individual’s understanding of their skin, a deep cleanse of the skin may be necessary as make-up can easily get stuck in pores and wrinkles.

We should not forget that many make-up brands differ in how scrupulous they are with their ingredients. It is generally true that the cheaper the makeup, the poorer quality of the ingredients, and over time, constantly applying cheap cosmetics will damage the skin and expose it to unnecessary toxins. An absolute no-brainer is to aim for natural ingredients wherever possible.

We must also be careful of how our skin will react over the longer term. Skin complaints such as eczema and rosacea are common with people who use heavy amounts of make up and do not allow their skin to recover in between bouts. It is not enough to use a short-term fix like taking makeup off each night; we need to see how our skin is faring periodically. There is nothing wrong with loving and enjoying makeup; just be sure to step back and look after what is underneath regularly.
